Thermostat housing sleeve 806992 8M0214947 is for use in MerCruiser 3.0L, 5.0L, 5.7L, 6.2L, 7.4L and 8.2L stern drive and inboard engines made by General Motors having standard cooling systems. The sleeve supports the thermostat in the thermostat housing. The sleeve is made with polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), a thermoplastic polymer, to withstand the temperatures in the engine and deliver long service life.
